Quick Cayley graph sketches from a group presentation

Geometric and combinatorial group theory is often studied using the Cayley graph of a group. Despite the value of Cayley graphs as a visualisation of a group, the traditional method of drawing them by hand makes their construction error-prone and time-consuming. www.graphicayley.de is a fast online application that transforms a finite presentation of a group into its Cayley graph. Its primary aim is to ease the burden on researchers by enabling quick sketches of groups, although it can also be employed as a teaching tool in abstract algebra. The tool follows in the footsteps of Nathan Carter’s Visual Group Theory and his Group Explorer. This is joint work with Johannes Heißler.
